Memphis IFC 2020-2021 Tryouts

*Due to COVID-19, tryouts will be subject to, and will follow, all restrictions/guidelines set forth by Shelby County and the state of Tennessee, as well as health recommendations provided by the CDC. Without question, the safety of every one of our players, their families and our coaches remains our top priority.

Tryout Dates & Times:
Tuesday, June 23
U9-U11 Boys – 6:00 – 7:00pm
U12-U15 Boys – 6:30 – 7:30pm

Thursday, June 25
U9-U11 Boys – 6:00 – 7:00pm
U12-U15 Boys – 6:30 – 7:30pm

Saturday, June 27
U9-U11 Boys – 10:00 – 11:00am
U12-U15 Boys – 10:30 – 11:30am

Any changes
due to weather will be sent via email to the address provided during registration
** Rain out make up day: Tues, June 30th at 6pm

Tryout Location:
All tryout sessions will be held at Gaisman Park - 4223 Macon Rd, Memphis, TN 38122

Tryout Check-In:
- Please arrive no earlier than 20 minutes prior to your tryout start time to check in
- Every player must check-in at arrival before every tryout session. Individual number bibs will be provided on the first day and must be brought back every session
 -If you have not pre-registered, you will be required to do so before your player can attend tryouts. We will have forms available for you to fill out. Please contact us if you need assistance with the online registration process

Tryout Details:  
- Tryouts are free! You can register online by visiting www.playyon.com/memphisifc/registrations
- We encourage all players to register for and attend all 3 sessions for their age group
 - Every player is required to bring their own water, soccer ball, soccer cleats and shin guards for all sessions
 - Players will not be allowed to share equipment, waters, snacks, etc.
 - Players are not required to wear face masks during sessions, but must maintain social distance requirements and place their equipment at least 6 feet from each other

Announcements and Acceptance
- Every player will obtain a placement notification email directly from the coach within five days of the final tryout session
- Players receiving an acceptance email will be asked to complete the team acceptance document within the email
- In order to guarantee a position on the roster, players must accept the position within 48 hours of receiving the acceptance email

Parents: Please help us ensure the safety of all by adhering to social distance and best practices while the players participate
 - Only coaches, players and referees are permitted on the fields.
 - Suggested – please remain 6 ft from each other and wear a face mask or covering when outside of your car
 - If you will be staying to watch, please do so from a safe distance
 - Should parents feel the need to communicate with a coach, it must be done via email or by telephone
