About Us

Albert Gallatin Youth Football League (AGYFL)is a non-profit organization located in SWPA, and is a member of the Western Pennsylvania Youth Football League. The purpose of the AGYFL is to teach the fundamentals of football to children who reside in the Albert Gallatin School District and are in grades K-6.  Regular practice starts in early August and games are on either Saturdays or Sundays from Aug-late Oct/early Nov.  Home games are played at AG High School, away games are within a 1 hour drive.  There are usually 8 games + playoffs. Registration is $50 for the first player, $25 for additional siblings.

We will have 1-2 mandatory fundraisers to cover the costs of field rental, ambulance service for home games, equipment, and other regular costs.  AGYFL previously utilized a point system for volunteer duties, but we are finalizing alternative options for this season.  In general, each family must help with a few shifts for duties associated with the 4-5 home games (concession stand help, chains, announcer, admissions gate, clock, set up, etc.). Cheer parents will also be helping out this year to lighten the load.  The number of times each family must volunteer will be dependent upon the number of home games and number of players/cheerleaders that register.
