The CJ2K vs THE WORLD GAME will be indoors at Aliquippa High School. This is a charity event. Proceeds raised from this event will benefit UPMC CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL OF PITTSBURGH. The goal is to get the very best players that ever played in the CJ2K League vs the very best of the World! In this 2nd annual game, it's most likely the WORLD TEAM will be composed of mostly Pittsburgh and Western, PA, top-notch players. We anticipate within a couple years the WORLD TEAM being more of a USA TEAM composed of players from around the nation. But in 2026, we are putting PITTSBURGH BASKETBALL as our focus once again.
We are proud of the talent in our area and feel you have earned the right to show off your skills in this game. Pittsburgh used to host the Dapper Dan Roundball Classic for years. Unfortunately, the game eventually left our area. Now we proudly bring you CJ2K VS THE WORLD GAME.
Last year players on the CJ2K Team wore white CONCRETE JUNGLE uniforms resembling the historic Pittsburgh Condors Professional ABA Uniforms. Players on THE WORLD TEAM wore Blue Uniforms resembling the ABA World Champion PITTSBURGH PIPERS Uniforms. Your name and number will be on the jersey. These Uniforms will be given to you. We haven't finalized 2026 unis. To assure a player commits to the game, we will charge $50.00 to each player. This will cover your uniform plus food and beverage. Additional tickets will be available online for $12 adults and $8 students. Proceeds go to charity so we appreciate your contributions.
Please let us know by February 1, 2026, if you accept our invitation to compete in the inaugural CJ2K VS THE WORLD GAME. Senior players will be prioritized but some very talented underclassmen may also be selected.

About Us
The CJ2K League was founded in 2020. It stands for CONCRETE JUNGLE 2K. During the Covid-19 Pandemic, the virus left the Pennsylvania sports world with alot of uncertainty. We wanted a way to give student-athletes a chance to compete. Our league was formed with very reputable coaches and great local prospects. The CJ2K took place in a 3-week window beginning September 14, 2020. It was outdoors, regulated, and fan friendly to family members of the student athletes competing. The kids deserved a chance to compete and we, along with the great people at Brady's Run Park, and some amazing sponsors like Big Shot Bob's, were glad to give them that experience. The feedback was fantastic and the competition level far exceeded our expectations. It was a fantastic atmosphere with great sportsmanship and top notch talent showcased throughout the hills of Western PA. Our pilot season was a success.
In 2021, we expanded. More teams, more players, and we continued to provide the players a venue to compete and a chance to have fun and be recognized by scouts throughout the area. Brady's Run Park was fantastic once again. Reign 3D joined the team and helped us grow even bigger with the vision. We wanted to create a player and fan experience that would mimick a cross between an NBA Game, Rucker Park, and a video game. Announcers, additional sponsors, and more media presence were added to achieve the vision and enhance the CJ2K Experience. CJ2K TV was developed to broadcast the games and our YouTube channel was launched by MBA Productions with the help of Reign 3D. Oh yeah, almost forgot to mention, we were back to SUMMERTIME Hoops. It's on!
In 2022 we doubled in size, expanding to 10 girl teams and 10 boys teams. All teams named after BSB wing sauces and franchise locations. Along came UPMC Sports Medicine to enhance our vision to further focus on player safety as a #1 priotiy. They were an instant game changer offering free baseline testing to all players and providing Athletic Trainers on location at several CJ2K League games. Brady's Run Park underwent major renovations and NBARC and NBASD gave us access to the original Concrete Jungle courts in New Brighton, PA. The League was a blast and grew even bigger in year three. Players from over 80 school districts and 4 states came to the Concrete Jungle to ball out.
In 2023 we went back at BRADY'S RUN PARK with a brand new state of the art, tennis court surface. The surface is safer for players, gentler on the knees, and fantastic for the visuals. We anticipated the CJ2K to go to a whole new level and it did. With the addition of voice announcer Brandon Rossi along with many freelance photographers and videoographers packing the courts the SKY'S THE LIMIT! CJ2K strives to be best in class and appreciate all who participate and support the dream to give the kids the funnest and most competitive stage we can. Our season kicks off on Memorial Day (May 29) and finishes up just before the July 4th holiday. July 1 features an amazing All-Star Saturday, complete with Slam Dunk and 3-point competitions, and much more. Mark your calenders now. July 1st you won't want to miss. New uni's with Player names were featured as a cross between NBA and European jerseys were introduced. The first ever franchise pilot was introduces in the Cuban X Giants of the Concrete Jungle. Marshawn Lynch Beastmode uni's splashed the Jungle. BRand 44 made history with the First ever NIL Deal and custom apparel for many of the League Stars.
2024 - EXPANSION ARRIVES! We polled the players, surveyed the area and (with an assist by Ju Page), we were welcomed to Collier Township by Rob Shazer and the Collier Community Park Members. T.J. Court will now be home for our SOUTH LEAGUE. The Concrete Jungle at Brady's Run Park a.k.a. The Mecca remains home for our NORTH LEAGUE. A vision that's been in our eyes for a couple years is finally here. Growth was imminent. The goal to make Summer commutes easier on student-athletes and fans has become a reality. We are proud to say we are a players league. In 2024, players decide if they want to play in the North League or the South League. The great realignment is still being written. The CJ2K 2024 Draft will be one for the ages. We can't wait! The Rolling Acres Timberhouse hopes to introduce a few players to the Green Room on April 14th. The Franchise Tags and Keepers are a staple of our League and New Franchises are coming led by THE CHAMPS! Malik and Sam Shegog have turned the World Champs, THE CRANBERRY LADY COOL RUNNINGS into international conglomerates and moved, re-branding the franchise as The Kingston Groove. This Summer will showcase a new level of competition as The North League Champs will meet the South League Champs for the CJ2K WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP! Bigger than the Mega-Bowl! We hope to bring you a 3-game home and home Series under the lights. (Still a work in progress).
2025 - More Growth and new partnership. In 2025, we connected with the Cleveland Cavs Youth Sports Program. They love our league and we love how they inspire youth through basketball. Scott MacDonald and the Cavs invited us down to a game. The rest was history. It was a perfect match. The CJ2K League became partners with Cavs Youth Sports Program. The triangle offense was complete when we also partnered with M:7 Sports Pittsburgh to make our mission to inspire athletes at all ages. JR HIGH BASKETBALL HAS ARRIVED! The CJ2K League will now offer High School and Middle School Leagues for 2025. All players will get Cavs Tickets, passes to M:7, a free clinic, full CJ2K custom Uniforms and MORE!
But, why stop at hoops? It is time the CJ2K brings on what everyone has been waiting for .... FLAG FOOTBALL. It has been so motivating see all of these young girls and women get after it! Bringing a new style of flag to the community, drafting teams to compete this July! The view is just a plus! We are ecstatic to host this event at Highmark Stadium!
