What is Citizen Strong?
Citizen Strong means individual strength, the name was chosen because no matter how many people may tell you "you can do it" or any piece of encouragement it's still up to you to turn that motivation into fuel. So, whatever we do or want to do, we have to dig deep and push pass towards goal. Citizen Strong is that individual strength we all harness in all parts of our lives. If you don't push yourself, who else will do it?
On top of that, we believe while going for those goals you should have fun. We figure the best way to have fun and strive for greatness is with friends so we created Citizen Strong Social Sports, (CSSS). CSSS offers adult sports leagues such as kickball, flag football, ultimate frisbee, foam dodge ball and running events. We want to give adults a place to come together socially in more ways than just meeting at the local restaurant or bar.
Why should I Play? Meet New People: Sign-up as individual, with friends, or an entire team. All sports are co-ed. Stay Active: Improve your health while doing something you enjoy. Have Fun: No matter your level of play, everyone has the opportunity to have a good time in a supportive environment. We take good sportsmanship seriously, and bad behavior will not be tolerated. Give Back: We offer many opportunities to benefit the community. Whether it's playing in a charity tournament or volunteering your time.
