About Us

The D’ Town Texans Community Outreach, Inc. was founded with the purpose to provide a safe haven for a diverse number of children in the South Oak Cliff inner-city area. Our idea was to give children a get away from some of their present conditions and environmental influences and provide a fun, positive, healthy atmosphere with coaches and parents that care and yield to the problems targeting our influential young children. We strive to be the difference. Our teams’ motto “One Team, One Family, One Love” is what we live by and instill in our children that we are one and should not target each other with negativity because we live in different neighborhoods, have different social and economical differences or because of status of their parents. It is our goal to help bridge these differences and help unite our culture despite of our differences. We pride ourselves on the theory “It takes a village to raise a child”. By seeking God fearing, compassionate coaches and team moms we hope to make a significant example of what adulthood could be if they work to their potential and allow their efforts to be their best efforts. Our overall goal is to teach the fundamentals of the sport and provide for making productive, responsible young adults
