For those getting this without daughters in softball, I apologize. This is my last message of the year :)

Remember that tonight's 8U games are for girls going into 2nd and 3rd grade while the 10U games are for girls going into 4th or 5th grade!

For tonight, weather pending, the 10U group plays at Central Middle School in East Grand Forks at 5:30 while the 8U group plays at Lafave Park, Field 1, in East Grand Forks at the same time!

Both locations will have one game at 5:30 and another at about 6:45! With 18 10U kids, we'll probably have half play the first game and half play the second game! Kate will be figuring that out!

Last games of the summer! Enjoy it and have fun and remember to return your uniforms ASAP!

An update for Golf Lessons. We will be starting the last week of July instead of the first week of August. Dates will be:

July: 28-31

August: 4-7

We will run two sessions to accommodate schedules as best we can. One group will go from 9:00-9:50 and another from 10:00-10:50. Once we get final numbers we will split the groups as best we can to make work for everyone. 
 

There will be a few dates the following week we can use to make up time if we run into anything weather related. Once I have everyone signed up, I'll send updates out on Facebook and to your emails.

Sorry if you're getting this email and you don't have a daughter (in general) or a daughter in softball. I click to send this to only the softball group but it ends up getting sent out to everyone sometimes. You may only get one or two more messages from me this summer! Softball families, for regular updates, join our Hillsboro-Central Valley softball group (not the fan page, but our private group) on Facebook! 

The league tournament for 10U is in Hillsboro on July 8 (Tuesday) and the league tourney for 12U is in Casselton on July 9 (Wednesday). Brackets will be sent out when they're available but games will probably start at 9 a.m.

Finally, there is no 10U practice today (July 1) as most of our coaches are gone today for softball 14U and 18U softball games. I apologize for the inconvenience!  There will be 10U practice Wednesday. There is no practice for 10U or 12U July 3. There will be practice at normal time on July 7th (Monday) to get teams ready for their league tournaments!
 

Hey everyone! Mike Tweten has set up a concessions stand help schedule to provide my father, Lee, with some assistance during T-ball, Little League and softball games at Olsen Softball Complex this summer. Money raised from this goes back into the complex. The stand paid for new windscreen at the field last year, purchased the ice cream machine, which is a huge hit, and has done other things to help our program. 

We only have a handful of events left at the softball complex this summer, but we're usually a little short on help and are relying heavily on just a few families to get through the summer currently.

If you or your sons/daughters can help out for a couple of hours here and there, it would be appreciated!
