KINGSTON RINGETTE ASSOCIATION

Registration Now Open

August 7, 2020
Hello again!

Kingston Ringette is excited to announce that we have been given permission to progress into the next steps of Ringette Ontario's Return to Ringette Guidelines. This means we are able to begin registrations for the season. We are hopeful that our season will begin the first week of October.

It should be noted that, as with all sports organizations, we are still in uncharted territory and will continue to follow the Return to Ringette Guidelines as set out by Ringette Ontario, the City of Kingston and the KFL&A Health Unit. That said, there will be changes to our season, however this will allow all of our Kingston Ringette players time to continue their skill development under the watchful eyes of our dedicated coaches. Please note, at this time we are not permitted to allow game play, however we are hopeful that this restriction will be lifted come the New Year, under advisement of Ringette Ontario, the City of Kingston and the KFL&A Health Unit.

The KRA Board of Directors is working on a series of video announcements to provide important information about our season. These videos will be released as soon as possible. Each Coach/Team Manager will then host a virtual meeting with all parents/players within their determined cohort to discuss the season and provide opportunity for feedback from you.

This season will definitely provide its set of challenges but we are dedicated to working to find solutions to these challenges so that all of our players can return to the ice in a safe manner.

Registration Fees: Please note that the initial fee of $100 is non-refundable. Initial payment must be received before stepping on the ice. Those accounts that are still owing from the previous season must be in good standing.
KRA Credits: Upon your registration, credits that have been carried over from the previous season will be issued back to you within a month of your registration. We appreciate your patience as we work through this process.
Fundraising/Bingos: (FUNdamentals1 Exempt)  Please note that the Fundraising/Bingo Fees have been automatically included in the registration fees this year, and will be eligible for refund if player fundraising goals are met. These goals are the same as in previous years, $75 minimum raised/player. Any amounts over the $75 with then be split 50/50 with 50% returned to the player and 50% added to the KRA fundraising account. Bingos will require minimum of 2 time slots covered, providing the bingo halls are accepting volunteers.
Waviers: There are many waivers included with the registrations. Please take the time to carefully read these before signing. We will also provide copies of these documents on our website.

We are looking forward to seeing you again!
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to the KRA Board of Directors.

Have a great day,

Kimberley Hart
Treasurer/Registrar
