My Story

Jordan Yantin brings a decorated resume to his first season at Florida State College at Jacksonville. As a competitor, he played for the Puerto Rican National Team (2004-08), winning two consecutive national championships in 2007 and 2008. He played his college career at Universidad de Puerto Rico NCAA D2 (2009-10). Jordan has continued his volleyball career in the field of coaching. From 2011-14, Jordan led Carmen Sol High School to a total of seven National Championships (four-time indoor Puerto Rico ‘Primera Hora’ National Champions; three-time Puerto Rico DRD Beach National champions). Following his 2014 Championship, he became the Athletic Director of Carmen Sol where he served for one year. After his high school coaching position, Jordan coached youth Boys and Girls Club volleyball. While coaching the boys, he earned two USAV Junior National Championships in 2012 and 2014 and one AAU National Championship in 2013. While coaching the girls, Jordan won one USAV Junior National Championship and one AAU National Championship. Jordan is also a club coach for the Jacksonville Juniors Volleyball Association (JJVA).
