My Story
FC Spider is a team operating under the ownership of Isaac Acolatse who is the Founder of We Mentor You Inc. (WMY Inc.) a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing foreign aid to orphans in Ghana, West Africa. Mr. Acolatse is also the owner of Soccer Magnet 801, a one-on-one training program for youth and adults wanting to reach their full potential. FC Spider and Soccer Magnet 801 operate to help support the services of WMY Inc. Mr. Acolatse has a passion for the game and extensive experience in coaching, mentoring and business management. By joining us, you help support WMY Inc.’s mission of empowering youth in the community to make positive choices, by helping to provide an opportunity for any person to get an education in an encouraging and rewarding environment that emphasizes fun, teamwork and skill development and by offering a high standard of training for those individuals that wish to reach their full potential. FC Spider has a mission to seek out unidentified or deprived soccer players and help them play on a professional platform to receive the recognition they deserve. We want to be the top sports training foundation in the world for not only our social contributions to the community, but for our dedication to teamwork, ambition, respect, effort and humility. FC Spider is looking for dedicated players with an emphasis on ages 16-30 who are talented, who may-or may not be-in high school, college, 3rd, 2nd and 1st division to join us in competing in the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) Western Conference-Mountain-Division 1 (upsl.com). UPSL is the largest pro-development league in North America. It has a cost effective fee structure with local travel to keep budgets down and offers 2 playing seasons in a 12- month period. It operates under the sanctioning of U.S. Soccer Federation (USSF) and the United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA). All UPSL teams are eligible to compete in the qualifying rounds of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup and U.S. National Amateur Cup. We are looking for team members to play for the good of the game, exemplify and demonstrate sportsmanship at all times, and strive for and support the greatest level of achievement for all players.
