Volleyball has been a part of my life for more than 30 years. I started playing sand leagues. Moved to grass and indoor leagues. Even played on asphalt for a could of season.
In the mid-90's, I was the CFO for Bluegrass Volleyball Association. We ran nearly all of the central Kentucky grass tournaments hosting groups of players of all levels. At our largest event, Mid Summer's Night Smash, coinciding with the Lexington Fayette Urban Counties Mid Sumer's Run, both supporting various local charities, we would have nearly 400 players on site.
I will play as long as this body allows me too!
