My Story

I have been with Lavega youth for going on four years now. Mhhm my story let's see.....well Born in Katy Tx raised in New Ulm Tx town that's rarely found on maps. Grew up around horses, cattle, tractors, and back roads. Played football, ran track, baseball, and powerlifting. Sports always kept me wanting to better myself. My first career choice was Coaching, but that didn't go as planned. My parents brought me to TSTC to visit and it felt right. 2 years and done. Moved to Waco in 2012 after graduating and started my new journey. School was fun going to TSTC and living in the Baylor Area. 2 years turned to 2 years 6 months. Long story short I finished. I am now an Account Manager for a Crane Company. My job allows me to have the spare time to give back and I love it. I started coaching three years ago the Flag team and enjoyed it. I do not have a kid on the team but having the opportunity to coach these young men is worth while. My wife and daughter gives me 100 percent support. My excuse is that I am a GIRL DAD!!! lol. Love those two! My first year coaching flag we won the superbowl, and I couldn't stop there the following year I coached the same flag team and made it to the super bowl agin but unfortunately fell short. Couldn't stop there though!!! Ths past year I leveled up with my team and coached the 8U tackle team made it to the superbowl and won that thing. None of that could be done without the great support from the LV youth Family and friends. Looking forward to coaching the 10U tackle team this season. Let's get this thing sailing!!! Thank you for the opening arms you all have given over the past years. I now reside in Bellmead Tx just trying to make it home. #LVYNATION
