My Story

I've participated in high school cheerleading throughout my four years of high school and I absolutely loved it. We would do more than just cheer we'd be there at cross country meets passing out water or voluntarily at wrestling matches in the crowd cheering on our boys, we'd gather money for school sports and donate them. I truly loved everything about it. I was also a part of Special Olympics, helping students participate in track or deliver coffee. I loved those kids, and you'll never feel as much love and appreciation as you can unless you're helping out with Special Olympics. Both of these activities have helped me grow as a person in many ways, but they mostly helped me recognize my love for helping others, and have guided me to wanting to be a teacher.
