About Us

The Purple Eagles Wrestling Academy is a wrestling academy that trains out of Albion, New York at the Charles D'Amico High School (Albion High School).  The program was developed in mid-2018 and will begin in November of 2019. Coach Mike Sanders, a former Purple Eagle, is looking to build a strong program from the ground up in Orleans County. 

The program is geared for all skill levels as there are beginner and advanced sessions on the nights there are practices.  Wrestlers can expect to received top-tier coaching from past Purple Eagles, as well as other top-notch coaches in the area. We are dedicated to delivering solid fundamentals as well as building great character with young people through the sport of wrestling. It is our hopes that by introducing young athletes to the sport of wrestling, and giving them high level coaching, we will be promoting the sport in Orleans County. With the founding principles of dedication, hard work, responsibility, and accountability, we hope to influence our athletes beyond the wrestling mat and into their daily lives.
