2026 SENTINELS TACKLE FOOTBALL & CHEER REGISTRATION (K-8 Grade)
WELCOME TO SWAY NATION, WHERE WE DEFINE EARNYOURGRIND! #EYG EVERY DAY!
1. YOU MUST ATTEND THE MANDATORY PARENT MEETING before the first day of practice. Will be held on Zoom or in the Bleachers @ SPANAWAY LAKE HIGH SCHOOL. Date TBD: 1st week of August timeframe.
2. Register your Athlete for the grade they will be attending in August. Rosters will close rosters early, as teams fill up.
3. We provide Helmets & Shoulder Pads after 3 to 5 days of practice. All issued equipment must cleaned and returned.
4. Uniform Package Includes all home and away uniforms. You will need to provide practice pants/pants pads, Prior Sentinels team uniform pants or black practice jerseys can be used.
5. You will be added to the team Parent chats to start receiving information, around July timeframe. We use the HEJA APP for all team communications.
6. No one will receive game gear without turning in their Birth Certificate and Current Grade Verification (School Record, School ID, etc.) Will be required at first Pad issue. No exceptions. ALL PARENTS MUST COMPLETE A ZORTS PLAYER REGISTRATION CARD. THIS IS A LEAGUE REQUIREMENT. COSTS ABOUT $12.
7. No one will receive game gear without completing Zorts. Zorts must be completed before August 1 2026. Athletes will be eligible for 1 year.
8. Complete all "Required" registration information. Default Jersey #s will be selected if only 1 option is given! Sizes will be ordered according to registration. Refer to attached size chart. DO NOT COMPLETE REGISTRATION WITHOUT REFERENCING SIZE CHART! YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY FOR ANOTHER UNIFORM IF CORRECT SIZE IS NOT ORDERED.
9. Last names on jerseys will be spelled, according to registration. Review yours.
10. No refunds after 1 June. No Exceptions.
11. You will have the OPTION to add on a team sweatsuit for your Athlete. These will be at an additional cost and not part of the original uniform packages. You must select Sweat Suit Sizes during registration. You will also have the option to add an order for a team t shirt as well.
12. Training Camps may start as early as May timeframe. Football Season starts in August. Follow our facebook page for the most recent updates. @sentinelsyouthsports
13. First game is usually at the end of August.
14. Plan to play every week, for a full 8-10 game season.
15. Practices usually M-Th 6-8pm. T-Th 6 to 8pm when school starts back.
16. Please add us on Facebook @Sentinelsyouthsports for information on Free Football/Cheer Camp @ Spanaway Lake High School. Starting Spring.
17. We will host a Free Franchise Annual Kickoff BBQ in the Spring @ Spanaway Lake Park. Date TBD.
18. Complete all "Required" registration information.
19. If you purchase a Parent Jersey, it will be the same number and last name as the Participant (Athlete). Select your size in options during registration. REFERENCE THE SIZE CHART!!!

The SPANAWAY SENTINELS YOUTH SPORTS ORGANIZATION is a complete sports program for boys and girls in grades 1 to 8. Whether you want to introduce your pee wee to his/her first sport, or help your established athlete work towards earning a Varsity roster spot, we're here to help you succeed.
Our complete program includes a practice facility, outdoor fields, cardio training equipment and more than 25 established coaches. Our competitiveness shows on the field, diamond and in the gym. We have developed a system that works.
