Registration for the 2025 takaball season is open. This year, clubs will run recreational games followed by bible studies. In the event that weather prevents a planned game from happening, the bible study will still happen and an indoor social event will usually be planned in place of the takaball game. There will also be occasional games between clubs for players who want something a little more competitive this year.
Registration is required to play takaball, but the bible studies are open to anyone. The bible studies are optional to attend, so if anyone can't stay for the bible study, or isn't interested even if they want to play takaball, they are still welcome to participate in the games.

Takaball is a game invented by Joel Waddell where 2 teams play against each other trying to get into their opponent's endzone with a frisbee by passing and running with the frisbee without getting tagged by an opponent then, after entering the endzone with the frisbee, picking up a ball from their opponent's endzone and trying to bring it to their endzone by passing and running with the ball without getting tagged by an opponent. Joel called the game takaball because his last name, Waddell, has origins with viking connections and the English word "retrieve" translated to Old Norse is "taka" and points are scored by retrieving a ball.
