Hello, Youth Football Parents/Participants!

It is hard to believe, but it is already time to start thinking all things football! We are excited to announce that our flag and tackle programs are under one roof this year, Wooster Football Association. If you have not already, please follow our new Facebook page for all updates.

-Evaluations for 3rd-6th graders will be July 14 AND 15 from 6-8pm at Maurer Field. The athletes will be weighed, fitted for helmets, and then split up into stations on the first day. On the second day, they will wear their helmets while participating in drills.

-Coaches clinic and draft night for 3rd-6th grade coaches will be July 17 in the LGIR from 6:30-8pm.

-Evaluations for PreK-2nd graders will be August 5 from 6-7:30pm at Maurer Field. Coaches will stick around afterward to divide teams.

Hello WYFFA families!

This Saturday kicks off our first games. The kids have been practicing weekly, and we are stoked to see them put their hard work into action. Remember to bring water and a mouth guard to every game! Below is this weekend's schedule.

9:00am

Field 1: Royal Varsity vs. Gold Varsity

Field 2: Black JV vs. Baby Blue JV

10:30am

Field 1: Black Varsity vs. Silver Varsity

Field 2: Royal JV vs. Gold JV

Field 1 is closest to Oldman Road, Field 2 is closest to the Dean.

Note: Picture Day is Thursday, September 26. Your coaches know their designated time slot!

Good Afternoon, WYFFA Parents!

Thank you to all of our athletes who participated in our Mini Camp this year! It was a hot one out there, but we had a lot of fun. 

Everyone should have heard from their coach by now and received a practice schedule. Please let me know if you have not been contacted.

Games will be held on Saturdays, beginning Sept 21. The schedule will be sent out soon.

You will be receiving a hard copy from your coaches as well. REMINDER: YOUR CHILD NEEDS A MOUTHGUARD IN ORDER TO PLAY!

YOUTH NIGHT IS THIS FRIDAY 9/6 AT FOLLIS FIELD. Please arrive at 6:30pm, we will meet in the grass area by the pavilion. Also, please remember to give yourself time to find parking, it can be tricky. Since jerseys are not in yet, please wear last year's jersey or a Wooster General shirt of some sort. If your child does not have a WYFFA jersey and/or all coacha, please use the west gate(one by the concessions stand) and state your name and organization. I have provided the school with a list of all players and coaches, they will be admitted to the game for free
