Many of our families are new to horses, and one of the first things parents ask us is where they should go for feed, supplies, and reliable advice. We naturally prefer to guide them toward a trusted local business rather than sending them out to order online.
Because of that, we’re creating a small group of community partners we can confidently recommend to every new family that joins the ranch. We would love for your business to be our preferred partner.
This isn’t meant to be a traditional advertisement. Instead, it’s a relationship — we direct our families to you, include you in our new-rider welcome information, and recognize your support at the ranch. In return, we’re simply looking for help sponsoring our youth riding program and safety equipment for kids getting started.

About Us
Located just north of Bishop, California in the beautiful Eastern High Sierra, Double L Ranch is a safe and supportive place where children learn confidence, responsibility, and respect through working with horses and mules.
We specialize in beginner and youth riders, offering small-group and private lessons that focus on safety, horsemanship, and building real skills — both in and out of the saddle. Our instructor, Linda Laird, take a hands-on approach and work patiently with each child at their own pace.
At Double L, kids don’t just learn to ride. They learn how to care for an animal, develop independence, and grow self-confidence in a positive outdoor environment.
We invite your child to come meet the animals and try a complimentary evaluation lesson. Many families come for a first visit — and stay for years.
