Evaluations are set

Thank You for your patience as we were getting this information out. The Evaluation Schedule for the Hanover Soccer Club competitive teams is below.

Evaluation #1 is March 10 and Evaluation #2 is March 17. We have split the players into age groupings as per how the registration numbers were. Take note that the times and the age groupings change from Evaluation #1 to Evaluation #2. Also note, Evaluation #2 includes a boys/girls combined evaluation for one group.  

Each session will be 1 1/2 hours long. Please be there a minimum of 15 min early to get ready, as we will be starting on the time for each group. Ensure you have indoor non-marking gym shoes or soccer specific indoor shoes, shin guards, shorts and socks. We request you wear a white shirt.

Due to the variation of numbers from one age group to the next, we are looking to identify options to eventually forming teams and have structured the evaluations accordingly. Also, we recognize there are groups of players that have played together in the past, so we will work together with past/current coaches in forming the teams so as to keep as many players together as possible. However, there may be circumstances where this cannot be achieved and so we ask all players/families to have an open mind to the process. As well, it is our intention to find a spot on a Competitive Team for each player attending this evaluation. However, if we feel a player is not ready or a spot cannot be found, we will recommend a move to the Community Soccer stream.  

We will announce the final teams by March 20, 2018. At that time we will also give further registration instructions and including payment.

We are very excited for the strong interest to play competitive soccer. This has been a process that has taken many years and a lot of hard work by many individuals. Working with the Manitoba Soccer Association (MSA), we hope to continue to grow the program and develop the strength of players throughout our region.
