GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT OUR LEAGUE

Hi Everyone,

The NEAA is excited to announce that registration for our inaugural season of Flag Football is officially open.  Before registering your child(ren) please keep the following in mind:

*  While we enjoy your child participating in our flag football league please be aware that this is not a drop off program.  Parental supervision and participation is strongly encouraged.  
*  The NEAA is not responsible for getting your child to/from the field.  Parents will be responsible for making these arrangements.  
*  Please make note of the start/end times for your child's grade level:  
    Schedule:   Grades 3 - 6:  6:00 PM - 6:45 PM   ~~~  Grades 7-10:  7:00 PM - 7:45 PM
Games will be played on Fridays from 9/24 - 11/5 (Please note there will be no game on the Friday of Columbus Day weekend 10/8).
*  Anyone interested in volunteering must be CORI cleared or you will not be allowed onto the field (More info to follow).
*  More specific flag football rules will be on the website - please review them when they are made available.
*  NO CLEATS are permitted on the field.  Please wear sneakers or turf shoes.
*  Payments:  Check or Money Order ONLY made payable to the NEAA and can be dropped off at the Nazzaro Center with attention to me - Steven Siciliano.

NEAA HEAD INJURY POLICY

Any player suspected of a concussion or gets any type of head injury must be immediately removed from playing in the game or practice.  The player cannot return to play in NEAA games or participate in any NEAA practice unless they provide written clearance from a licensed physician to the NEAA.
NOTE:  The Center for Disease Control and Prevention offers free information, as well as a free online concussion training course on their website: www.cdc.gov/concussion/HeadsUp/youth.html.

About Us

NEAA MISSION STATEMENT
To enrich and improve the lives of the boys and girls throughout the city by promoting athletic and youth development.   THE NORTH END ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION HISTORY AND OBJECTIVES The NEAA was founded in 1960 and incorporated in 1961. Its purpose is to provide athletic, social, educational and civic activities for youth in the community.  Over the years, the NEAA has helped them attain a better education and job placement.  There are no salaried positions within the association as it is an all volunteer staff.  This organization which has been in existence for over sixty years proposes to expand its youth recreation and counseling programs to meet the comprehensive needs of Boston’s North End youth.          These programs help children stay off the streets and out of trouble.  The NEAA deals with a variety of children many of whom are in need of a caring and nurturing environment.  With NEAA, there is always someone there to listen and help them in any way possible, making it a better tomorrow for them.                         (The North End Athletic Association, Inc., is a tax-exempt 501c (3) organization)
