Ticket sales are important to sports teams because they are the basic backbone of a franchise’s success. Ticket sales bring in a major part of our income and without them our company runs the risk of going bankrupt and eventually ceasing to exist. Tickets will be available to fans at ticket stands outside of the stadium, and ticket prices will range depending on where the seats are, due to the view that will be provided by the seat location. Tickets can also be found online in websites such as ticketmaster and stubhub as well as our team's website. Promotions will be offered throughout the season, an example of a promotion would be offering all veterans attending the game a free fountain drink on Veteran’s Day weekend to show our gratitude for their service. Wrangler jeans will be one of our team’s major sponsors. Exposure will be provided by giving the Wrangler Jeans Company the naming rights to our stadium. Wrangler Jeans will also be available for purchase in any of the multiple gift shops within the stadium. What are some different strategies teams use to sell more tickets? There’s multiple strategies that can be used to increase ticket sales including offering people planning to attend promotions like a free coke or a hot dog if they buy four or more tickets. Another way to increase ticket sales would be to have days dedicated to mom’s for example on Mother's Day, or to veterans on Veterans Day and offer special promotions on food and merchandise. Strategies like these could help our Franchise with increasing ticket sales. At the South Texas Wranglers Stadium we will also offer multiple ticket bundles and packages that allow our fans to pick and choose which suits them for the right price.

Why are ticket sales important to a sports franchise? Ticket sales are the livelihood to the success of our Franchise. If no one is attending games or events in our stadium, our franchise is losing and our brand’s worth decreases. Ticket sales bring in revenue to our franchise and revenue is crucial in order for us to succeed as a company.

What is sponsorship and how does it apply to sports franchises? Sponsorship to the South Texas Wranglers means helping us reach our goals in making the National Football League a better organization, by contributing our beliefs in commitment, equality, and ambition. Sponsoring our Franchise would mean being a part of our team’s success and giving your company the opportunity to display your product during every game. Sponsorships also tells the fans that their favorite team supports your brand and recommends it over other leading brands. It is of the highest privileges to sponsor the South Texas Wranglers Organization.  

  What is promotion and how do teams implement promotions to build their brand while encouraging more fans to purchase tickets? A promotion is offering active encouragement to purchase tickets or to support our team by giving back in beneficial ways; for example offering fans a day where fountain drinks are half off in gratitude for supporting our team and for attending our events. Teams may implement promotions by giving away things to their supporters or by offering discounts to things like merchandise or items from concession stands. This causes fans to be more inclined to purchase tickets for games or even to purchase season tickets.

How can teams use sponsorship, promotions and ticket sales strategies together to help drive more revenue for their organization?         All of these things can help make revenue, all of them are important for creating the most revenue possible, sponsorships are the biggest thing we can use to gain revenue, from selling the name of our beer to selling the name of our stadium, and everything in between.

Home game promotions: November 19, 2017- All fans can purchase a raffle ticket for $100 for you and one other person to eat a thanksgiving dinner in the skybox and watch the game.

What do we mean by the term”fan experience” and why is it important to a sports team? 

We want our fans to enjoy not only the sport, but also the experience behind it. Our fans mean everything to us, they are our family, teammates, supporters and our beloved community. We value our fans and thrive to deliver the best possible quality of players and service, to share the passion of our fans and their families towards our team. We aspire to gain support over years, and to give back in a fun-filled time. By the term “fan experience” we believe that this is the fan’s involvement or how the fan feels about the event and we would hope that every fan who comes to a game loves it and has an amazing time. The South Texas Wranglers we believe fan experience is one of the most important things to a franchise because if the fans have a good experience then they will most likely come back to more games, buy merchandise, and bring others. It’s just important because good fan experience leads to loyal fans. When the fans get a positive fan experience then they will be a repeat customer. In order for that customer to be a repeat customer, we must set fair ticket prices and also the parking tickets; the ease the flow of getting to your seat; flow of leaving the stadium and traffic as well. Fan experiences are a way to build memories with fans and show them why they should come back for more games. One experience we want to build upon in our franchise is our halftime shows. The South Texas Wranglers want to make it our mission to have the whole world talking about our mid-game performances. Not only will this provide more entertainment to our regular fans, but it will encourages non-football fans to come to our games to witness the great acts we put on during halftime. This is a big role we have to do for our customer to be fully satisfied.

How has technology helped to improve the overall fan experience? Technology has improved fan experience in many ways. One way is that you can now buy tickets online so you don’t have to wait in long lines. Also there will be an app that you can download and it will show you where seats are. This will improve the flow of people trying to find their seats. Additionally, if our fans are witnessing bad behaviour they can call or text through the app and tell security what’s going on and the security team will start investigating right away. They will escort the person out if needed too. Another one is that fans can also order food from concessions on their phone through our app, to skip the long lines. This will make fans happier and allow for more efficient concession business as well. The main way is the jumbotron and T.V. in general. In my opinion the jumbotron allows the fan to get more into the game, via replays, and also just seeing the game up close. Also during like timeouts and halftime the cameraman always puts people on the jumbotron and that contributes to having a good fan experience.

When does fan experience begin? Fan experience begins as soon as the fan turns on the T.V., enters the stadium, goes to the tailgate, or comes in contact with the organization. The fans experience begins when the fan wants it to, but the complete experience begins when the fan enters the stadium, with all of the traditions, other fans, and our staff members trying to give the fan the best experience. Tailgating will be one of the first experiences our fans have at our home games. We encourage peaceful and organized tailgating before all home games, from fans of both teams. Tailgating is a great way for our fans to get excited about the game and allows them to interact with other fans too. As soon as you step into Wrangler Stadium you will be welcomed, and when the game is over you wish you would never have to leave.

Game Day Experience and Traditions: As guest and fans travel to The South Texas Wranglers Stadium for football games, show your pride and hold the Wranglers banner during the opening ceremony. Our game entertainment will be singing the National Anthem before the game starts. Our tradition is going to be that we’ll have a hired mascot dressed up like the Wrangler. Preferably someone who is 6’5 and up to fit in the big costume. The costume includes a big hat and spurs on the boots. Then have a horse with the team color. Both will charge down the field before the players.  Willy the Wrangler comes out of the tunnel on his horse in a thick white smoke cloud to lead our team onto the wrangler field. During half time we will have cheerleaders dancing and doing stunts to entertain our fans, leading up to our winning halftime show mentioned earlier. During the game our cheerleaders will be cheering on our team to play better. For our promotion it will be “Buy 2 tickets and get another one half price.” This will encourage people to buy more tickets and better profit for us. Also, it’s our goal to provide you with the best game day experience possible and leave you satisfied with your experience from the time you park your vehicle to the time you pull out after game win.     

Stadium Amenities: The Exclusive Lounge will be available to those in the luxury suites and has room for 1,400 football fans. The Fantasy Lounge is furnished with flat screen TV’s, touch screen tech and charging stations. Also, we have a large playscape so there is a place for children to play. We want everyone to be served equally, so we will have access for handicap people. We have 225 bathrooms so there won’t be comotion; 20 will be family restrooms.

What role will technology pay? Technology will play a big role in our stadium. We want to enhance the experience our fans have, it's not just about football, it's about being an entertainment company too. The way we are going to use technology is we are going to have enormous screens for the people that are on the higher level so they can see the game and still feel like they are part of the crowd. We will also have an app that will give them an officiant route to their parking and seats so there won’t be any confusions. Technology will help people watch games at home or buy tickets online.This will also help them because our app on the play store can be downloaded to see when and where the games will take place as well as when and who are games are against. We will hire a professional media team to film and edit high quality videos of our team. Showing these videos on our jumbotrons will raise our crowd’s energy, creating a better fan experience for everyone. Also, you can share your pictures of the game to be posted on the jumbotron if you are picked. With this there will be free wifi throughout the stadium. The cost of the wifi will be paid through the ticket prices and the profit from the concessions. Our fans will have a balance between a digital and physical experience that they have not seen before.

What role will customer service play at the event? Where can fans find information? Employees of Wrangler Stadium are expected to greet fans with a smile and positive words right as they walk in. We want our fans to know that we appreciate them coming to our game and supporting our franchise. In our organization our customer service will play a big role. Customer service will be a very important part of our brand’s success. Good customer service is crucial because it molds the way that our franchise’s reputation is viewed. Our fans will be treated fairly and with kindness regardless of their race, religion, gender, etc. Our franchise will be known for the excellent customer service that is given to anyone attending our stadium’s events. We want our fans to feel important and have all of their questions and concerns answered. There will be two customer service areas in the stadium on both ends. For more efficient customer service needs, our employees will be at every seating area, all bars and food courts, and they will be at every corner for your convenience. We will also have employees walking around who will help guide fans to places around the stadium and to answer any questions.

How will parking, traffic, and tailgate be managed? We want our parking lot to be in control and in order on home games. There be lots of people between guiding traffic and helping our guests find their parking spots. A tailgate section will be offered for our fans who purchase tailgate tickets. Tailgating will be permitted at a maximum of 4 hours prior to the game and and it will be permitted at a maximum of 3 hours after the game is over. Traffic will be directed by security units in order to prevent any accidents, and there will be available help for pedestrians within a mile radius of the stadium. Valet parking will be offered to people willing to pay or to people with private suits within the stadium. Parking lots will be located in the surrounding area around the stadium and parking attendants will be present to help direct vehicles to available parking as well. Also, you can pay in advance online to reserve a spot in the closer parking lots. If you do not have a printed parking pass, parking will first come first serve in the other parking lots. In the satellite parking lots there will be at least 5 buses per lot. These buses will only cost $2.00 to get to the front of the stadium.

Where will fans eat? What items will be sold in concessions? Where can fans buy team branded merchandise? We will have concessions outside of every tunnel that leads up to your seats and the team branded merchandise will be sold in the concessions also. The fans will buy their food and take it to the tables set up throughout the stadium or back to their seat to eat to watch the game. Everyone has a saying in Texas, “Go big, or go home”, so we will bring our A-game at every game, by bringing our fans a burger called the “Heart Attack Burger”. This burger, with the South Texas logo, will be an icon to the stadium. This burger will have 40 slices of bacon, 4 pounds of meat, 20 slices of cheese, chilli and other items. Our concession stands will also offer items such as popcorn, ice cream , nachos, soda, beer, candy, hot dogs, burgers, chili cheese fries, pretzels, corn dogs, funnel cakes, grilled cheese, chicken tenders, pizza, chicken wings, fountain drinks, as well as many other items that will be available for consumption during major events like games or concerts. Team branded merchandise can be found online at NFL.com or in sports stores, as well as within the stadium gift shops. The team branded items that you can buy are, our team name and logo on various clothing items, our team flag and light up sticks, and accessories like keychains, cups, pens, laser pointers, etc. Since we are sponsored by Wrangler Jeans, we will work with them to see if we could sell their jeans in our stores as well.

What type of premium seating be offered? In the wrangler stadium we will offer suites to fans who are willing to pay the extra money to sit in reserved suite seating. There will be suites around the whole stadium on level 14. The fans can reserve their seats for a higher price, but in the upper deck of the stadium it is first come first serve. At each section of the seating area, the ushers will check your ticket to make sure you go to the right seat. This is also in effect to make sure no one takes your seat. As a result, this will decrease the chaos of trying to get the best seat which will appease the fans. All of the tickets will allow the fans to stay in the standing area, but the reserved sections will have the opportunity to eat or drink at some of the clubs. Premium seating options will include: Center Field Premium seats, which will be the best seats in the stadium located above the 50 yard line, allowing for the best view of the entire field; next would be Lower Field Premium, which will be located lower near the field next to the 50 yard line. Premium seating offers the best view for games and includes best quality experience for people attending games. There will be four different types of bundle seating options as well. The first one will be the Normal Pack that will have 1 ticket and a hotdog and small drink. The second one will be called the Group Pack which will get you 4 tickets and 4 hot dogs with 4 drinks. The third one will be called Semi- premium and that will have 1 ticket, 1 popcorn , first row seats, and a soft drink. The fourth one will be called the Super Fan Seating and that will have 1 ticket, choice of an entree, large drink in a souvenir cup and your name and face will be on the jumbotron.

How big is your stadium? How many people can attend your game? Our stadium is above the average size of other NFL teams - it is rather large - it will hold a maximum of 85,000 fans.

What does the stadium look like? Our stadium is unique because of the architecture. We tried to do something with our home that no other team has ever done. Our stadium is large, with an enclosed field and seating. It is special because our roof has the Wrangler Jeans logo cut into it. See attached pictures.

Where is the stadium located? The Wrangler Stadium will be located in New Braunfels. New Braunfels is in between San Antonio, and Austin, Texas. Both cities are some of the biggest in the state and they have a large population. Placing our stadium between both major cities will attract people from both cities to support our team and to attend games and events in our stadium. We will be the centerpiece of New Braunfels and we will revive the city.

Indoor or outdoor facility? This stadium is indoor and has a dome. The main reasons we chose to do this is, it’s easier to maintain and Texas weather is unpredictable; you never know when it may get really cold, rain a lot, or even be too hot. We want the stadium to be perfect for fans.

What is the name of the stadium? Our stadium will be called Wrangler Stadium. We chose this name due to our partnership with Wrangler Jeans Company. It also fits with our team name.

How will the stadium impact fan experience? We want or fans to have the best possible experience within the stadium. To achieve that, our stadium will remain up to date technology-wise, to increase rate of any sales, and our company will strive to give our supporters the best possible fun-filled experience, by providing good quality customer service, food, and merchandise throughout our stadium. Wrangler Stadium will be equipped with the safest machinery and surroundings as well. We will commit to weekly check-ups of all our facilities, seats, elevators and escalators and other equipment as well. We take our safety concerns very seriously and will work to have zero fan injuries or problems at Wrangler Stadium.

How will the design attract visitors? The design will attract visitors because one, the stadium is very big and two, the colors of the stadium catch the eye. More importantly, we hopefully will be a very good football team so people will be looking out for our stadium. Because let’s be honest who doesn’t want to see a Wrangler football game?

How will the franchise generate revenue? The franchise will generate revenue by selling merchandise, ticket sales, parking, concessions, and investors. We hope by the end of the season we will make the money back we used on the stadium with all of the sales listed. Concerts and other entertainment events will also take place at Wrangler Stadium. To generate enough money to keep our stadium up and running, we will organize the world’s best artists and bands to perform at our stadium. At these events, we will still promote our team with banners and small “reminders” around the stadium. This will encourage attendents of the concert to also buy a ticket for a football game.

Both cities are some of the biggest in the state and they have a large population. Placing our stadium between both major cities will attract people from both cities to support our team and to attend games and events in our stadium. We will be the centerpiece of New Braunfels and we will revive the city.

Indoor or outdoor facility? This stadium is indoor and has a dome. The main reasons we chose to do this is, it’s easier to maintain and Texas weather is unpredictable; you never know when it may get really cold, rain a lot, or even be too hot. We want the stadium to be perfect for fans.

What is the name of the stadium? Our stadium will be called Wrangler Stadium. We chose this name due to our partnership with Wrangler Jeans Company. It also fits with our team name.

How will the stadium impact fan experience? We want or fans to have the best possible experience within the stadium. To achieve that, our stadium will remain up to date technology-wise, to increase rate of any sales, and our company will strive to give our supporters the best possible fun-filled experience, by providing good quality customer service, food, and merchandise throughout our stadium. Wrangler Stadium will be equipped with the safest machinery and surroundings as well. We will commit to weekly check-ups of all our facilities, seats, elevators and escalators and other equipment as well. We take our safety concerns very seriously and will work to have zero fan injuries or problems at Wrangler Stadium.

How will the design attract visitors? The design will attract visitors because one, the stadium is very big and two, the colors of the stadium catch the eye. More importantly, we hopefully will be a very good football team so people will be looking out for our stadium. Because let’s be honest who doesn’t want to see a Wrangler football game?

How will the franchise generate revenue? The franchise will generate revenue by selling merchandise, ticket sales, parking, concessions, and investors. We hope by the end of the season we will make the money back we used on the stadium with all of the sales listed. Concerts and other entertainment events will also take place at Wrangler Stadium. To generate enough money to keep our stadium up and running, we will organize the world’s best artists and bands to perform at our stadium. At these events, we will still promote our team with banners and small “reminders” around the stadium. This will encourage attendents of the concert to also buy a ticket for a football game.
