Choosing the right sport for your child is a challenge!
If you are like me with a child who wants to participate in every sport they can --you know it can be hard to choose. Of course what they love is a priority. When they are in elementary and junior high it is about having fun, building friendships, learning fundamentals, introducing them to new things and discovering unknown or foreseen talent.However, when they enter high school it becomes less about fun (for some of us) and more about what will give my child the best opportunity for college. Every sport offers a benefit to a child as long as they participate and stay active. I found this tool online that can help guide you through choosing what sport is best suited for your child. The best way to find out is to let them play!! Avoid locking your child into ONE sport at an early age. I know from experience this will cause burn out.
If your child and your family can commit to playing multiple sports then simply communicate with coaches and league managers your need for flexibility. It is rare that a coach will turn a child away because they are to busy. The worst case scenario is that you can ask the coach/league mgr if they are willing to register your child as a sub or alternate. Registration usually costs less for subs and the coaches have someone to call on when they are short a player!

The Williams are fierce competitors and they played a great game all the way to the finish! They won the $300 and gave $60 of their winnings back to the league! Thank you Williams Team
About Us
Supreme Sports and More was founded by a single mom who saw that the community lacked recreational opportunities not only for youth but also for adults.
I found that not only was Hearne lacking recreational opportunities but, more then 30 cities within 60 miles were lacking recreational opportunities for youth and adults as well.
As a mother of 3 boys I am often seeking recreational activities for my boys and I to participate in. I have lived in Robertson County since 2007 and have found the options for recreation limited. I have a mission to change that.
I want to make options available for all families to enjoy recreational activities right in their backyard. I have been a single mother with no transportation and have experienced financial hardship more than a time or two.
Recreational sports and activities are expensive, and I feel there is a way to change that. Families should be able to find recreation within walking distance. When they do find opportunities, these opportunities should be fun, affordable and safe.
Supreme Sports & More will get the ball rolling on fulfilling our goal of offering 30 sports and recreational activities within the next 3 years. Help us out and register today -- Volunteers and Sponsors always welcome!
